If you’ve ever felt that life is a collection of quiet moments; some delicious, some painful, all meaningful, then you’re already at home here.
My name is Chris, and this space is where all the threads of my life come together: art and psychology, photography and meditation, the pleasure of sensorial experiences, and the timeless search for meaning. It’s a meeting place for curiosity, creativity, and the human spirit.
I studied psychology and medicine, but many of my deepest insights didn’t come from a classroom. They came from silence, from art, from paying attention to the small stories people carry. In 2017, I published Subrepticio, a novel that follows a man’s search for meaning in the midst of disgrace; a journey woven with guilt, secrecy, redemption, and the fragile tension between faith and humanity.
I’m also an award-winning fine art photographer, always drawn to the way beauty and truth hide in ordinary moments, waiting for someone to notice.
Although I write in English, Spanish, and Italian, I chose to keep this space in English; like a bridge wide enough for anyone to walk across. But you’re welcome to speak in your own language; words always find their way home.
My inspirations stretch from Rumi’s mysticism to Jung’s ideas, from music and human archetypes to meditation, movement, the spinning of a bicycle wheel, and the quiet wisdom offered by nature when you pause long enough to listen.
This blog is a tapestry, woven from personal stories, reflections, research, travel musings, psychological insights, creative expression, restaurant experiences, photography, and poetry. It’s a place where the inner and outer worlds meet.
I’m grateful you’re here. May something you discover on this blog inspire you, nourishes you, or simply reminds you that your own journey is still unfolding; beautifully, imperfectly, and in its own time.
Chris.~
